Supervising Editor
Carolyn Barnwell is a creative producer/editor who specializes in documentary-based storytelling for mission-driven organizations, families and communities. Carolyn has produced short films and PSAs helping to raise over $40m dollars to support conservation and human rights campaigns, as well as brand films and private podcasts. Previously, she was the Head of Production at GROUND creative impact agency in Washington, D.C., and a staff producer at National Geographic focused on conservation content. Carolyn has a BA in Human Ecology from Middlebury, and is a graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and Accomplishment Coaching. Carolyn also cares deeply about wellbeing and is a Stress Resilience Coach and TRE® Provider. As a coach, she helps scientists and storytellers become more effective and centered leaders so they can make the greatest impact with their work. She lives in Vermont with her husband, daughter, and a menagerie of pets.
