Director/Producer
Brooke Saias (she/her) is an independent filmmaker, director, and producer. She collaborates with organizations and artists to develop impactful, overlooked stories. She is also an associate producer with Arch+Bow Films supporting critically-acclaimed films with bold artistic vision. Recent credits include the feature documentary RICHLAND (Tribeca, Sheffield 2023.) Her own film practice explores personal and collective memory in relationship to place and identity. Her documentary short about the preservation of the Ladino language, SONGS OF THE SEPHARDIM IN IZMIR, is currently screening in festivals. Her upcoming short KARPUS elevates the American Sephardic experience through home videos and personal narratives. Brooke previously produced a collection of international films for Compass Light Productions and was an award-winning video journalist. She was also a co-founder of The Video Consortium's first mentorship program. She has a graduate certificate in Documentary Studies from The Salt Institute and a B.A. in Gender & Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin.
